Organic pollution detection based on protozoa saprobity index at Bojonegara waters of Banten Bay

One of the problems aquatic environment is organic pollution which can disturb balance ecosystem. The study was conducted to analyze based on protozoa saprobity index and some environmental parameters that affect protozoan population in waters Bojonegara Banten Bay. Descriptive method with survey techniques used this study, consisting 3 observation stations determined presence different industrial activities. Data were analysed through calculation saprobic index, diversity abundance, while analysis relationship several using PCA (Principal Component Analysis) program. results showed 12 genera Protozoa identified a total 102 individuals. Bojonegoro, Bay are already polluted organically moderate criteria (Beta-meso saprobic) values ranging from 2.30-2.47, have highest influence brightness, temperature, pH, turbidity, dissolved solid (TDS), oxygen, biological oxygen demand (BOD).
